Water Facilities Worker (Temporary)
For more information see our Water Facilities Worker page.  This is a temporary non-benefitted position that is not linked to any regular positions of the same name. The work schedule is 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday and is limited to a total of 999 hours in a fiscal year. A district application is required, click here to download.   You may also pick up an application in person at the District Office, 2 Civic Center Drive, Scotts Valley. Possible career tracks include water treatment and distribution, engineering, water use efficiency, utility billing, community relations, public finance, and administration. The minimum qualifications for many of the job classifications are high school diploma supplemented by vocational/industrial training or a few years of work experience.
