Capacity fees are required when an existing customer replaces an existing water meter with a larger sized meter. In this event, the fee will equal the difference between the current capacity fee for the new larger sized meter and the existing smaller sized meter.

If a customer replaces a water meter with a smaller sized meter or discontinues water service, no capacity fee refund will be issued.

Capacity fees will be subject to annual adjustments based on Engineering News Record (ENR) Cost Index and Meter Fees will be subject to annual adjustments based on actual costs
